"The other kids on Eastwick were great! I'm still in touch with Mia - who is sooo cute! We really bonded when we worked together. I hope we get to play sisters again."
Emily Alyn Lind (Eastwick Co Star)
"I knew from the moment that we added the character of Katie that we were going to have a very difficult role to fill. Not only was Katie integral to understanding Jay's character, she serves as a catalyst for change in Jay's life. That's a big job for a 6-year-old. Our casting director, Sarah Domeier, gave us a wide variety of adorable little girls to choose from, but from the moment I heard Mia speak, I knew she was the one we needed. And Mia was quite the trooper. We had a couple of very early mornings and at least one very late night, and I know Mia was battling a cold through a lot of that, and she took everything in stride. Some of my favorite moments on set were sitting with her eating cheerios between takes. What was wonderful about Mia was that she's already had quite a bit of experience being on set, so when places were called, she knew what to do. She and Casey Fitzgerald (the actress who played Jay) also bonded really well, and were just joking and goofing off between takes and developed a wonderful chemistry that's really hard to do when you've just met each other and the director is saying, "Okay, be sisters!" In short, Mia was a joy to work with and I will definitely recommend her if I hear of any upcoming roles."
